race day.

i only had two goals for my very first race....

1. no walking.

2. have fun.

happily, i can say....mission accomplished!

what an exhilarating experience...

the scenery.

the sound of cowbells and encouragement from the crowd.

the sense of accomplishment.

and to those who may ask, "so, is a marathon next?"

heavens no.

but i did have a ton of fun! and must admit, was pretty proud of myself and my first little 10K.
