took sydney on a date today to see this movie....
hard to imagine turning a book with 10 sentences into a full-length movie, but somehow they did.
i thought it was a little dark for its intended audience, but there were some really sweet moments and i thought the voice cast was brilliant.
the book is a classic.
the movie? not-so-much.

hmm. we saw that movie last night. max was kind of a brat in that movie...makes me not want to have kids. lol.

we took the kids on Fri night, and it sure wasn't what we expected. oddly enough, we all still enjoyed it though.
