unscheduled, unplugged and loving it.

this is the first time i've been on my computer in nearly two weeks.

and, to be honest, i have not missed it.

we've enjoyed every last minute of the Christmas break.

staying up late.
sleeping in.
eating all kinds of naughty stuff and not feeling too bad about it.
staying in our jammies until noon.
no particular place to be.
cozy evenings by the fireplace.
hot chocolate.
movies.
games.
playing with new toys.
reading lots of books with the kids.
and reading on my own {the help, have you read it yet?}
good quality family time.
reflecting on our abundance of blessings.
celebrating the birth of our Savior.
relishing the quiet moments with my little family.
thinking there is nothing better than Christmas morning with young ones.
feeling like i have it pretty good.

and feeling grateful for it all.
...

may the new year bring you happiness and joy.....
and even more to be grateful for!
