three hundred and ninety dollars.

was the damage at costco today.

seriously.

yowza.

i was quite literally out of every. single. thing. that i regularly purchase from costco.

i did, however, resist the temptation to snarf a delicious polish hot dog from the cafe...

man, are those good or what?
...

and now i'm curious...
what's the most you've EVER spent at costco?
c'mon, it might make me feel a little better if you share!

I almost got there this last week with $319.00! I try to avoid that place like the plague and only go when I really need to stock up on things like TP wipes and paper towels and potatoes. Their potatoes are seriously huge. Oh and fruit leather. I like their fruit leather. But, the good thing is I maybe go there only 7 times a year and most of the time I keep it under $100. That's the goal anyway. That's all.

Holy COW that IS a lot! Does the time I bought some couches there count? If so it was over 2 grand....

A little over $6000.00. Truly. My last shopping trip before we moved to Russia.

$6000.00...I rented a U-Haul trailer to get it all home.

Non-moving related shopping trip: $478 when I was out of everything at the same time.

Ummmm... that's a lot of cash-o-la. What does one purchase for $300-$400? It's not only food, right? Apparently, I've never spent over $150. Oh, one time I did, but it was to feed 80 people at the block party.

Sorry, one more comment today....I used Blurb.com for my book. I've done three books so far and have been pleased with the outcome. I would suggest not doing the 7x7 size though. I had some issues with margins and pictures getting cropped wrong on that one.

Oh and I didn't buy just food. Toilet paper, diapers and wipes, contact solution, among other things were also on the list. But it still hurts. Won't need those for a while!
